Chuckanut Community Forest Visitor Survey, Call for Volunteers!
The Chuckanut Community Forest Park District and the City’s Steering Committee for the Chuckanut Forest Master Plan have authorized an informal survey of actual park visitors, as part of the Master Plan and future planning for the forest.
Volunteers are needed to count the visitors hiking or biking in the Hundred Acre Wood on Saturday, October 9, and Monday, October 11. Counters will take a tally at the five major entrances to the forest in one hour increments, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Can you help with an hour or more of your time? Clipboards and pens and folding chairs will be available.
Please reply to Vince Biciunas at vbiciunas@comcast.net or call her at 360-671-1559, to volunteer, with date and time of your preference, and your contact (phone and/or email) info.
